Kenmare Ireland, Beara Peninsula

Kenmare on West Coast has so much charm and beautiful landscape.  It is well worth a stop during your visit along the Wild Atlantic Way while on vacation in Ireland.   Kenmare is one of those Irish towns that you could spend hours wandering the streets, taking in the  of the ornate buildings and strolling around the center to town.  There are lots of cafes and little shops to get lost in.

The Cromwellian bridge is worth walking to.  This is no ordinary bridge believed to be from the 11th century.  Even though it is called Cromwellian bridge there is no evidence linking the two. It is so worthwhile to take a stroll around the brigade area and enjoy the essence of Kenmare.

Kenmare is an Irish picturesque small town with a tranquil feel and ideal to stop and have lunch while en route to Killarney.  There also is shopping opportunities.

Kenmare has a charm all of its own.

Kenmare and the sun is shining!
