We recently took a tour with Carmel from Emerald Irish Tours, and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. In true Irish fashion, we experienced all four seasons in a single day, but nothing dampened the experience. Carmel was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. She shared so much about the history of the area while keeping everything relaxed and enjoyable. We were keen to fit in a few pub stops and some lunch along the way, and Carmel couldn’t have made it easier. She would drop us off, let us enjoy ourselves at our own pace, and then scoop us up again when we were ready. More than anything, we wanted to experience an authentic side of Ireland, and thanks to Carmel, we really felt that we did. She took such good care of us throughout the day and made the whole experience feel personal rather than like a standard organised tour. We honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. If you’re looking to discover authentic Ireland with someone who knows a huge amount about the local history, and who is also genuinely lovely, speak to Carmel :-) We can’t thank her enough for such a memorable day!

Carmel was an amazing guide. She was very thoughtful in suggesting places to see, especially since this was our first trip to Ireland. She was interested in the suggestions we had and places we wanted to see. We immensely enjoyed our day with her. I would highly recommend booking a tour with her.

We selected Emerald Irish tours from 3 different operators. They accommodated our 3-day custom itinerary from Dublin to Dingle and points in between. The Mercedes van was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our driver-guide, Kevin, was professional, kind, humorous, and knowledgeable about the areas and history of Ireland. He efficiently added so much to the content of our planned tour. Our party of 4, in our sixties and seventies, were thrilled with the experience.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. Martina put together a lovely itinerary based on our interests. Our driver, Roger was simply the best! We enjoyed so much while on travel - Dublin, Killarney, Galway, Dingle, Cliffs of Moher, and so much more! We felt like we were saying goodbye to a new friend. :) Thank you Roger and Martina.

Highly recommend Emerald Irish Tours! My husband, four kids, and I spent a perfect week touring Ireland! We hit all the highlights - Kilkenny, Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Dingle, Kilarney, Galway, Connemara, and the Sky Road- and much more! Martina was a great help planning everything and our driver, Larry, was exceptional—extremely knowledgeable, great with the kids, and gave us brilliant food and sightseeing recommendations throughout the trip. 10/10 experience!

We used this service to hire a private driver for our family on six. The service was on time, very knowledgeable and flexible. Our tour had several opportunities for photos before visiting Cliffs of Moher. Spent ample time at the cliffs before getting lunch in nearby beach town and then back to Galway. Great tour!
