The Best of County Clare begins with a trip to Ennis Friary and a medieval tour of the cobblestoned streets of Ennis followed by an afternoon tea at Dromoland Castle.
Day 2 starts with a drive along the Wild Atlantic Way to the Cliffs of Moher. After a spectaclar walk along the cliffs, it’s onward to the one of the local villages for lunch. In the afternoon it’s a off to the Burren, a karst limestone moonscape, not to be missed. Next is a short stop at Saint Bridget’s Well to hear about local customs and traditions. The day finishes with a spot of shopping or a stroll in the village of Doolin.
The third day brings you to Loophead, a hidden gem on the west coast of Ireland. A short walk along the hidden cliffs of Kilkee followed by one of the most scenic drives in Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way, followed by a guided tour of the lighthouse at Kilbaha. Lots of stories of history and heritage.
The final day of the tour is a choice between a dolphin watching trip or an afternoon of baking.
